Hi,
I am one of those guys who dropped his bike after which it tried to domino another bike..... :brk:

But that not the worst part. I drove some 300km yesterday (springtime at last) and the bike feels unstable mainly around 90 -100 km/hr
Is there a way to check if this 'accident' has 'changed' (sorry cannot think of another word) the bike?

Thanks
WW the goof
:roflmoa2:

Hi WW, now you can call yourself a Tiger owner   we will all do this at some time or other and hope it happens when the bike is stopped.

did the handle bars take a hard hit on the bar end ?? it may have twisted the forks a bit or bent the bars, both would make the bike feel wierd. if the forks are twisted, all the pinch bolts will need to be loosened off and the fork legs twisted the opposite way. when i say twisted i don`t mean bent !!

does this make sense !!

Hey KuzzinKenny
Yes that sounds about right. It did drop on the handle bars and on a concrete slab so that's one trip to the mechanic
Thanks for the advise

When I dropped mine (pretty hard) It tilted the front wheel between the forks. Loosened the axle pumped the front end a few times then re-torqued the axle straightened it right up. Might be worth a try.

Hi, there are some spectacular crash photos and bikes still rideable. But above advice is sound for a starter, support bike, loosen off fork bolts above and below headstock and f/axle, loosen headstock rotate to check for notches, then tighten everything back up. Normally all OK - this is a strong bike.

If really worried then a jig is only way to check frame etc.
