Ive been told today by 2 reliable sources close to triumph that the new tiger will have the 1050 engine in.
But it will be more supermoto style orientated which for me is a shame.
Also they have stopped making the current tigers ready for the introduction of the new one towards the end of the year.
The new ones will also be more expensive & heated grips, panniers, centre stand etc will all be extra & not included like they are now.

So if I was you & I was looking at a tiger buy now cause it looks like the current model has finished.

I personally would like to see the current model run alongside the new 1 but who am I anyway & cant really comment until Ive seen it in the flesh & got some concrete evidence on how its going to be.

I heard the new Tiger is going to be a 4-wheeler, with a gun rack and a DVD player.

I'm certain this is true.

I suspect the Tiger JRO speaks so wistfully of is a special import only available to known deer magnets.
BTW, my 05 heated grip$ and center $tand were extra$. It did come with a barely readable clock. I've always wondered why it has an AM/PM indication.

Will the gun rack hold two or three rifles?

AM/PM tells you the difference between morning and evening. AM is for morning, and comes after midnight. I know, I know - it's still dark. But timekeeping fanatics call this 'morning', instead of say, 6 o'clock in the morning. This is because they're not really sure when morning is, what with all the time zones and daylight savings. They figure if they 'jump on morning', they'll be right. They are; by 12 midnight it IS morning, somewhere.

PM, on the other hand, indicates 'afternoon'. It comes after lunch, although most people really don't eat lunch until 1 or so.

If it were up to me, AM would start at 6 in the morning, PM is okay (after 12 noon), but I would add NM - for 'night time', which would fall between 6 in the evening, and 6 in the morning. Except in Summer, when it wouldn't begin until 8 or 10 in the evening.

Anyway, I hope this helps you understand why your rocket sled clock indicates AM or PM, despite the fact that you can't read it. Myself, I really don't care what time it is, anyway.

Now, as to the new Tiger 4-wheeler having a gun rack for one or two firearms, I haven't heard anything about that. I certainly hope it will hold 2, but if it doesn't, I can see a serious need for an aftermarket. Personally, I'd prefer they offered a standard swivel mount, so you (or a passenger) could shoot while on the move. It would be great if your wife could 'cover' the road for deer, cell-phone drivers, and other vermin, whilst out for an afternoon ride.
