I've just swapped my soft panniers for Givi hard luggage. We had the soft luggage racks on the Tiger and were running with the Oxford Sports panniers. Apart from the hassles with strapping everything on the bike each morning the soft panniers did the job just fine, the main reason for swapping was mostly the ability to stop during the day on our trips and park up the bike without having to worry the luggage being safe.

Have a look at the Oxford Sport panniers site. They also have a couple of other ranges. The Sports panniers come with rain cover tucked in it's own dedicated hidden pocket.

If you compliment the panniers with a Touratech/Ortlieb packsack roll closing Q RACK PACK Size L yellow you get about 115L of luggage, enough for long trips two up....

Regarding the soft pannier racks - no idea where these originated from, they came with the bike. They're definately Tiger specific as they were fitted around the exhaust, apart from that hopefully someone else might be able to shed some light on it's origins....

I'm using a Hepco&Becker rack with Ortlieb Drybags. The bags come either with straps or with hardware that clicks onto the H&B rack. It all seems pretty tough and stable. Fully waterproof.

I think you can get the rack for your model as well.

Torguey, does the offside pannier fit around the pipe like the triumph one or is it a straight sided fit the same as the near.
Do you have a picture, cos if its a neat fit I will be beating a path to Mr Givi's door
Thanks in anticipation

its straight sided.

Some fit two different sized boxes though to try to keep the width similar both sides
