I posted this up in "bikers chat" yesterday and it got deleted.
Is it so bad? I don't understand. I admitted it was a cross post; but is bike related and 'good' and - although I think RfH is great; folks are of course free to vote for the other very worthy causes...

Riders for Health needs your help! Motorcycle insurer eBike has a total of
£25,000 to be divided between six charities according to the results of an
online poll. Every vote for a charity will increase the percentage of the money
that charity will receive, so every vote really does count!

In Africa a child dies every 30 seconds from malaria, even though a simple
mosquito net could mean the difference between life and death. Riders for Health
is helping 10.8 million people across Africa to have the basic health care we
take for granted, giving them the chance to fight disease and look forward to a
healthier future.

Please cast your vote for Riders today, and spread the word to friends and
family!

Thank you.

For more info about the work they do, have a look at their website ..

Hay,

apologies for any misunderstanding.

This is not asking anyone for money even donations.

This is a vote for how you think eBike should split the cash - so, clearly it is a bit of a publicity stunt by them...

I just happen to know a few folks who foundries for RfH - and a few of us help out by, for example, manning their stands at bike shows - helping out on the Helmut Store Bus etc.

cheers.
