Picked up my Tigga today, and even though I rode it 70 odd miles in extremely blustery and nippy weather, and even though I haven't ridden a bike since my Bonneville T140V got nicked over 25 years ago, I absolutely loved every second of it!

The bike is a dream - nearly 3 years old with only 2,800 miles on the clock and looks like new. It has top box, centre stand, datatool alarm and electronic oiler (not Scott).

The only thing I'm not sure about is the colour! Owner says it's Burnt Orange but can't find reference to this colour anywhere.

I'm just going to the garage to have a chat with it!

Welcome to the most fun bike forum   you take it easy on your Tiger till you get used to her, there`s a BIG difference between it and the T140V, about 50 horses i think

enjoy the ride !!

Syberian,

Welcome along, it is good to see you amongst us.

Your description of the colour is almost definately Lucifer Orange, and that fits in with the age too.

That grin that you got off the bike with, will almost certainly grow and grow....we are all similarly affected here :-D

Need to know anything, then feel free to ask in any of the Tiger forums. There is a wealth of knowledge here on tap.

Enjoy your time here.

Jim

Thanks for your replies, it's good to see there is still motorcycling cameraderie!

I will take it easy on the tiger - it's not just 50bph more, it's also 20 odd years to catch up on.

I got used to the top heavy weight when slow running quite quickly, but I'm finding braking a bit strange (probably something to do with technology improving after all these years) and stopping about 20 yards too soon at lights.

Have got an advanced riding school 200yds down the road & will get myself booked in asap.

Thanks again for a great forum - this was a major consideration for tiger purchase and most of my questions have already been answered.

Andy (alive again)
