Wouls somone with the experience explain to me the difference in 05/06 compareed to the 01/04? Like seat height? Is the newer bike less top heavy? Can you feel the extra power?
Thanks,
Jamboa

Wheelbase is shorter on '05 due to different swing arm. Slightly quicker steering from revised front end geometry. Cast wheels replaced the spokes of older models but same sizes. More similarities than differences.

Basically the same bike.
Different suspension that makes it more road orientated, no extra power. Seat height etc is the same.
Point to note, the older black framed model can be height adjusted more simply than the newer silver framed model.
Oh yes and the silver frame is orrible

If you have a silver 05 Tiger I think the silver frame looks just as good as the black frame.

its an opinion that the silver looks ok or quite nice, its a fact that it looks orrible
Maybe if they had used a silver engine I would think differently.

Sorry, the "logic" of a silver engine (or any other strictly aesthetic choice) escapes me.
Triumph have done unpainted engines in various models, but they look more Japanese than British in that configuration.
