I loved MV magazine and was gutted when it went bust (probably failed 'cos there weren't enough 600cc track-day comparrison test issues every month to sell!)...

i am still trying to get the first three copys,if anyone wants to sell them to me.

most of the writers,went to work for motorcycle sport and leisure magazine,it was one of the best mags,gutted when it got bought out by emap.

i heard they closed it down,cos it was pulling buyers from their other publications.........*****,get real emap.there is room for everyone out here in bikerland,bring back voyager i say.... :evil:

... since its unfortunate demise, I find the best real-world read is UBG (Used Bike Guide)... little pocket-sized mag that is great to look through when you're on the crapper. I think a couple of their writers regularly contribute too... At least they are not obsessed with the "latest thing" and give long-term reports on bikes that sometimes aren't even produced anymore... Bring back MV... was a good one

I have the very same thought. It's my silver Tiger you saw on the site. Never mind the GS brigade are always very easy to wind up for a bit of a laugh.

I hope it turns out a good site as the MV magazine was a good publication, their web site had good potential as well but quickly turned into a moaning session about the loss of the magazine subscription money.
