Has anyone ever found somewhere who will supply either 17" or 19" Alloy Wheels for the Tig ?

I spoke to Triumph a while ago about fitting the new Tiger Alloys to the older model's but they said they are completely different (a missed opportunity for them there for some sales of wheels?).

If anyone knows of a supplier could you let me know.

Being the great non-believer that i am,i'd be very suprised it the 05/06 didn't fit or couldn't be made to,if there was a problem i guess it would be rear,as they have a different swing arm.

Dymag sell wheels that fit Tigers just a matter of telling them which ones you want they have the spec, come with it's own rear cush drive and sprocket,i've been waiting for mine three weeks now,as it's their busy period i'm not holding my breath for the next couple of weeks!!!

As i sold my wire Supermoto wheels it's well balanced on it's center stand at the mo!!!

Hope the birdies don't land on it !!

Just out of interest, how much are the Dymags, and are you getting 17" replacements or just a straight swap for the 19" ?

I wondered about swapping myself but not sure how the handling would be effected.

The wheels i took out were the same spec as the ones i am buying from Dymag, five and half inch rear and a 17" front.

The difference being weight, tubless although to be honest i don't get my knickers in a twist about the tubed thing, and they'll be a dam sight easier to clean!!!,it's not as though i'm going into the unknown as i've got Dymags on another bike, and i'm exspecting to have to do some twiddling on the suspension because of the wieght loss.

The guy i sold them to,is on both this board and the other one,he works two weeks on,two week of,off shore,i'm starting to sound like a broken record so ask him when he comes back online Johny C,although he has already put a few lines up on another thread.

Sorry almost forgot, the 7 spoke aluminium wheels are a grand there the cheapest they do.

Look at the yellow box thread.
