Hi folks,

Sorry if i have appeared to have gone quiet for a while, i have been re-locating, and absolutely snowed under at work. However, things are quietening down now and it'll soon be spring.....pleeeease!

Anyway...question........?

Have any of you tried a 'BikeBarn' or similar secure bike store?, i am just looking for a solution for keeping Stripey under something other than a cover. I do not have the room or the finances at the moment to install a large shed/garage, so i am looking for alternatives.

I would appreciate any feedback good or bad ??

Believe it or not I have my Daytonna in a self storage unit near me over the winter period.

Garage is full with my Quattro Im rebuilding and my Tiger which I use all the time. The cost is really good compared to buying and building another shed or cover.

Most self storage units do some form of secure storage which is outside so check the local area. I pay 30 quid a month for mine which i think is more than reasonable.

Stripey a friend with a Honda Trasalp has one of these... he got it from a place here in Barnsley. Is very well made and worth a look... Is this what you mean?

P.S. He got a discount on his insurance too as it was in the same class as a concrete garage

Thats the kiddy!, thanks for the heads up on that particular one, i had not seen that make before. It looks a good bit of kit, certainly worth investigating a bit more?
