Ok so I'm almost convinced to buy a Tiger.
What do I need to look out for when buying second hand. Anything in particular that wears out/should have been replaced/best years/etc.
I will obviously not buy one with a top box, that sounds just too naff for words, an old milk crate will do just as well by all accounts!!!

Best
Rod

Make sure the carbs are set correctly, the clutch is bled out, and the sprag clutch/DAR isn't acting up...

Other than that you're good to go.

1997 is the best year. Bigger sprag and lightest bike of them all.

Good luck!

Get the Tiger with the fat 17" radials front and rear with Ohlins suspension and big Brembos up front. Don't forget to look for the 1050cc Speed Triple motor conversion as well as the perimiter beam aluminum frame. When you find that scooter, let me know so I can buy it.
