California Tiger 800XC Meetup Jan 19th and 20th

The California Tiger 800XC riders are meeting up for a ride weekend January 19th and 20th. This is a camping out ride in the Carrizo Plain area west of Bakersfield. Several of us are meeting up friday night at Carpinteria State Beach. This is a rough estimate of the route but as the date gets closer i'll post up a gpx file and or link to a dualsportmaps, com link.

California Adventure Rider is hosting the meet up but forum membership on that site is not necessary to attend. If you post up here that your "IN" i will post you up over on that site. The meetup is in conjunction with a annual rider to the Carrizo Plain that is done every year. The Tiger meetup is a subset of the larger ride. The Tigers will be riding in our own group and meeting the larger group at camp. We'll be accompanied by a couple support vehicle that will be cooking up some camp food (or you can bring your own) and be carrying firewood etc. we give $ to one of the support truck drivers or both. that will also cover firewood.

The camp food will be burger or Carne Asada, salad and Chile beans that sort of thing. Sunday morning, we get have breakfast or just go to a place called pappy's for brunch, then head out to cold springs tavern after east camino cielo. if we still have time, we will ride to w. camino cielo and finish the ride by riding through state street in downtown Santa Barbara.

The ride will be paved twisties and noob dirt roads. This video should give you an idea of what the rising is like.

This is a great chance to meet other Tiger 800XC owners and also meet lots of cool Adventure Riders. Feel free to pass to all the Tiger 800XC owners you know.
