For those of you looking, there is an excellent looking Tiger 800XC in Triumph of Daytona. Orange in color with 1410 miles.

I was working a deal on the bike and final price (out the door) got below the $9900. Deal fell through because of personal reasons.
I was dealing with a gentleman called Rob. Excellent guy and great experience with him. Really wish I could of bought the bike.

I am in no way affiliated to this dealer. Like I said I was working a deal on the bike but since I cannot get it now, I wanted to throw this opportunity out there.

You're right. I saw it on Ebay yesterday for $8995. Seemed like a decent deal to me for anyone looking.

$8995 is without the $595 dealer fee and taxes, tag, registration, etc. Initial price out the door they had given me was around $10,400 and they came down to ~$9800. The GM also sent me an email afterwards saying that he is ready to sell the bike so they might even discount it more.

So you got the price down to $9900 OTD? Shouldn't be any dealer fees if it's used. It doesn't say it's an XC in the eBay ad but it sure looks like one, is it? I'm thinking about selling my 1050 Tiger and DR650 and going this route.

Yes sir. I got the price down to $9,830 and some change. I agree with the dealer fees but they do state they charge them on the ebay ad.

It is definitively an XC with ABS. I made sure to ask. The sales man also told me that it does not have a single scratch and still has OEM warranty of 18 months if I remember correctly.

Very good price IMO.

I personally would not change 2 bikes for just one unless the other ones are already beat up. You currently have a very good all around bike and a very capable off-road bike that can also be used on the street.

That does sound like a good deal. Hmmmmm.
I love having both bikes but I'm considering taking off for an extended trip and relocating in the end. If I do this I'll be selling everything off and having 3 bikes (I also have a scoot) will mean storage. I'm thinking the XC would be a good bike to replace the Tiger and DR with. I don't do serious dirt riding, just easy stuff. If this trip does happen I'm not sure if I'd take the Tiger or the DR, swaying towards the DR actually since I could wander more off road. The XC would fit the bill problem nicely.

Considering the fact that I just bought an xc from the same dealer (Orlando location) and paid 11,000 for mine, I'd say this was a great deal for a few miles, I would have bought it!

I bought my GS from these people too, they can be trusted.

I don't like the immediate depreciation on mine as a result of this kind of deal, but ... oh well! - lol

Somebody should grab it.

FYI - I bought mine from the sister store, when I called the Daytona store, I spoke to a very nice woman named Cindy. I asked if I could leave my car and trailer in their lot for a few days, she never hesitated and just said YES! - Very decent people.

I can get a one way ticket for $150 but I'll need a place to crash for the night. Most Cindy's I've met were very cute.

It's more tempting than it should be right now, I'm thinking seriously here. That'll put 4 bikes in the garage until I can unload the surplus. But it probably is the perfect bike for my plans. If it's still there after Xmas, I see myself booking a flight.
