Hi Guys,

Just to let you know that Bigbikemad, the free on-line bike magazine (run by myself and a few mates on a not for profit basis) has just reviewed the 1200 Explorer.

http://bigbikemad.com/triumph-explorer.html

We also have videos and articles on other large capacity bikes including the Triumph Trophy.

Put the coffee on and check it out!

We have a growing video section....

This is definitely one of the better review that has been written about the bike.
I have a bit over 3000 miles on mine and it just gets better all the time. Approx 500 of those miles are off of the pavement and I feel quite comfortable on the bike in the dirt now.

Interesting that you have some off road experience on the bike Capri....

If you fancy sending me a few words about what that was like / how it compares with other bikes I'd happily add it to the review and credit you as the source.

Ride safe.

I rode it a few weeks ago, did not impress me enough to switch out for the T 800 abs. Power is nicer but not needed for this type of bike.

800 way too little a bike for me 1200 looks sounds and feels just right. 800 feels like a toy.

Hi,

Hopefully we will get video of the Explorer soon -I have to say I do prefer the greater power of the 1200...but we have a lot of traffic over here and max overtaking power is needed!

Meanwhile we're out on the K1600GT and S1000RR as guests of Europe's biggest BM dealer next weekend. If the weather is good we'll get video, but if not we'll go anyway and do reviews with photos. Even if you're not likely to buy one of these bikes the technology is just amazing and the S1000RR in particular is real eye candy... nice to graze on while sipping a beer..

Tests of these two Beemers will be out by end November. Next up after that, we'll be looking at the new Daytona.

Keep coming back (oh and can I have some of that popcorn please - its hungry work writing all this stuff!?) to BBM - stuff changing all the time plus new videos every week on our YouTube video channel.

Cheers!

Dave

Smile Tiger Explorer Review revised!

Hi fellas,

Just to say that, thanks to a member of this forum, Phil, AKA 'Prh142', We have now revised our review of the Tiger Explorer. Phil sent us his opinion of the off roading capabilities of the bike.

Being ordinary bikers and not paid journalists, we are always keen to have real world input into our stuff.

Thanks Phil!

The revised article can be found here:

We have also set up a link back to this forum in order to give you guys some publicity.

Cheers

Dave
