Well, despite being in Finland for another 4 months I managed to buy a 2011 Tiger 800XC ABS. I was planning on buying a new one when I got back given used ones pop up very rarely and tend to be only $1k under retail (and even those ones sell quickly). Well, one popped up on CL being sold by a reputable local used dealer. Only 4k miles, mint condition, and some useful farkles already installed. Still has some factory warranty, too! Saving me a bit over $4k all together. I'm quite happy about that! It'll be a nice compliment to my 09 Speed Triple.

My wife took the afternoon off work, and the dealer came by with the bike, gave it a quick spin around the block to show her it worked, and then they did all the paperwork. I really appreciate them making the extra effort to deliver the bike at no charge with no deposit in advance even with me across the Atlantic!
