Tiger 1050 No power

Hi Guys, I woke this morning and went to fire up my Tiger 1050, put the key in, turned and then... nothing. No power on the console, nothing. I've never experienced anything like this in the (almost) two years since I've had it. Would this simply be a symptom of a dead battery or could it be something else? I did nothing special after parking her last night aside from checking the oil which was fine. I thought that maybe if it was the battery that the console might light up but not have the power to start, or is this an assumption from my car owing days.. Any advice much appreciated.

Cheers!

Have you checked battery connections? If they are OK you might want to check your battery...

Start simple first...fuses, then the battery dissconnect the terminals clean them and reconnect. put a charge to it after that and see if it holds. Check your wiring for any breaks or kinks as well.

Same thing happened to me. It was the main, green 30 amp fuse blown. I had checked all fuses except that one, and installed a new battery before figuring out.

I assume since your borrowing a charger that you don't own a maintainer. They are always a good idea to use even when you use the bike daily.

Since no one mentioned it check the kill switch. I'm sure you have already but it's amazing how often that gets overlooked.
