Tag O Rama (Photo-Tag)

ANY TIGER CAN PLAY!! And, if your Tiger is in the shop you're more than welcome to participate with whatever motorcycle you've got.

First person to get the tag gets to post the new target theme. Post a picture of your Tiger with the LAST requested "tag" in the chain, then you get "control" and post a picture of your Tiger with a NEW target. The new tag must be generic enough and standard for anyone around the world to join in and play.

New time limit rule. The tag needs to be completed, start to finish within 48 hours. "Completed" meaning, old tag photo and the new challenge photo need to be posted within 48hours of each other. If the time limit is not met, the challenge will revert back to the old challenge photo. Additionally, 1) After 3 days, the person who made the challenge can post their own picture and pick another topic. (2) If a challenge is not met after 5 days a new topic is picked by the previous challenger winner. (3) If a pic is in dispute, it needs 3 yes votes to be accepted.

No stock photo's for the OLD TAG. You can use stock photo's for the challenge tag (new tag) though.

Challenge photos: Keep things simple in such a manor as to keep the game flowing as quickly as possible. Try not to use "specific" movable objects as they are tough to predict where they'll be at any given time. Again, think of a challenge that will keep the game moving, if they're tricky to duplicate the game will stall.

If someone has an issue with the difficulty of a tag please post here or PM me so I can make some adjustments.

Here is the first challenge. Your Tiger pictured with an industrial chimney.

As a clarification, I assume you went out today and grabbed the picture to meet my challenge of the road closure? In the past I have ruffled peoples feathers for using "stock" pictures to meet challenges and they weren't acceptable. However, as I read the updated rules "stock" pictures are okay for new challenges so your new challenge would be acceptable.

Works for me...:) As this thread gets pretty stale, and I am all about riding, encouraging people to ride is the bottom line. Thanks again for your participation and riding your Tiger.

I am envious of what appears to be much milder temperatures than we are experiencing here currently...:(

Okay blue-star...since stock photos are okay to meet a challenge with the new rules...I am going to grab your body of water picture with a picture of frozen Evergreen Lake which I took last week. I will get out tomorrow or the next day to post up my new challenge. Again, welcome aboard and thanks for getting involved.

The new rules are not as restrictive which is a good thing....Hell, we even allow KTM's to participate now...:D

Okay boys and girls, I have your new challenge. A picture of your Tiger in front of a sign of a town/city that has duplicate letters in the name. For example a town/city that has EE, LL, PP, etc. in it's name The only restriction is that those generic green/white state and federal highway signs will not be acceptable to meet this challenge. My pictures below should answer any questions you might have.

Let's get busy and not let this thread get stale as it does at times and most definitely let's not let this Orange Crush interloper shame us Tiger Riders...:p I went out when it was 36 degrees and returned 2 hours later and it was 41 degrees so no excuses...;)

They don't have to be fancy signs blue-star...just not one of those generic green/white signs...;) Get after it and have fun riding because you can never ride too much I say rain or shine.

Very good Norty!!! I will be out riding tomorrow and Sunday so I will hopefully grab your new challenge. If not it looks like riding might be difficult for a while as Old Man Winter is paying us a visit next week... It's looking like we might have a White Christmas...

So boys and girls...for your next challenge go get a picture of your Tiger with one of those costumed fast food hawkers that are all over the place. Doesn't have to be the cow, but I'm sure you can find one that is appropriate...;)

Remember...Eat More Chicken...;)

I'm sure you can track down something that will work blue-star. I know when I rode through Louisiana last May, even in the rural areas, there were people out hawking eating places with signs...I will accept that as well...:p Just grab a picture with the guy/gal holding the sign....;)

I don't know where you are in Louisiana blue-star, but I rode Hwy 90 out of Lafayette over to Mobile and I did see costumed hawkers as well as guys/gals holding up signs beckoning me to eat at their restaurants. And I didn't ride through any city of any size on that route...I know you are up for the challenge.

Well boys and girls, I see Tag-O-Rama is once again getting stale...:( I was hoping year 2014 would finish with some renewed activity...but nope. I am somewhat amazed that Tiger riders in the warmer regions aren't participating. Here in Colorado when we don't have sub zero temperatures and snow/iced packed roads we participate.

So let's get on our Tigers in the New Year 2015 and ride...:D As soon as this weather straightens out here I know I will be riding. Hopefully a Tiger rider will grab my challenge soon, otherwise when things clear up here, I can assure you that Orange Crush Rider will shame us once again... Lets not let that happen...again!!!

So here is my current challenge....a picture of your Tiger, preferably not a KTM, with one of those costumed characters that are commonly hawking out in front of a restaurant. Seems easy peasy to me...:p

I received a message from a friend of mine this morning who isn't a Tiger rider, but happened to be following this thread....below is what he had to say.

"If some of these guys put half the effort into actually meeting the challenge as they do concocting reasons not to complete it, the game would roll along."

I hear you Sean...more snow coming tomorrow they say... Hopefully with the warmer temperatures forecasted for next week the streets will clear. It looks like you will end up shaming the Tiger riders again on your Orange Crush Special...:p
