1050 mirror question

Is anyone using the mcmotors mirror riser/extenders listed on ebay? Stock positions aren't bad w/o a jacket, but with, about 1/3 is covered by the shoulders.

For under $25.00 delivered they look pretty good. Any other suggestions welcomed....tomp

I've been wondering the exact same thing myself. Can anyone recommend these? Or perhaps another brand?

I can reccomend them. I have used them on my Tiger and V-Strom in the past. They work great and cost much less than some of the other alternatives. I also use Aprilia Tuono mirrors. I can actually see behind me with the mirrors and extenders!

@ AVL Thumper: Thanks for posting the photos! I really like the look of those extenders. Looks like they give the mirrors a bit of a rise too which is good considering I am 6'4".

Do you like your lights? Which brand are they and how did you mount them? My Vespa illuminates the road better than the Tiger does so an extra set of lights would be awesome.

I'm 6'6" and the extenders and mirrors help a lot. The lights I'm using are commonly reffered to as the "Komy" lights on the Tiger1050forum. They are nice. I mounted them on the Twisted Throttle light bar. They came with the handle bar switch seen in the "mirror extender" photo above. Here is a link to Komy's ebay stuff for sale http://www.ebay.com/sch/2allbuyer/m....&_trksid=p3686. They take about 7-10 days to ship, but the price and quality are great. I got the 780 lumen version. If you ride at night, I would probably get something a bit more powerful. I use them mostly as running lights and a low beam supplement.

Got the mirror extenders yesterday finally after 16 days. Installed today with the new mirrors, and went out for a ride. I'm thrilled with this new setup! Thanks, AVLThumper. He's right, I can actually see behind me, and no more looking at shoulders in the mirrors. Highly recommend both the mirrors and extenders.
