Ok I have a new to me Tiger 00 with 12k and it has just started leaking fuel from somewhere up e the tank. Is there another manual, clymer? for the beast of just the Triumph? And since I don't have one yet is there a shut off I can access. I'm laid up from back repairs and can't do much to it for a few weeks. I am guessing the recall may be involved but sounds like the metal bits affors the long term cure.null

Barko,

it's likely to be the fuel connectors. You should ring your nearest Triumph dealer with the engine no. and ask if it's been done (we can do that in the UK anyway ...)

If it has been done it could still be a problem The recall was for the male connector only [fuel line side]. The receiving side female connectors are not included in the recall so can still crack. Also it's very easy to split the O rings on the connectors - my dealer did this on my Daytona. If you need to buy some these folk can help-

There's no shutoff - the connectors are supposed to do that.

No Clymer. There is a Haynes that covers 97-00 and you can get CDs of the factory manuals on Ebay.

Thanks, that is indeed what it appears to be. The top plastic connector. Mine may not fit in the recall period but I'll check and most likely order the better bits.
