Recently went out for a day trip with a guy with has recently purchased a Tiger, the 05 model. I have done a fair bit to my 03, most significantly being the hagon springs, front and rear. Also MRA screen

On the way home we did a swap for about 30 miles. When i got back on mine he said 'Can I keep this one'

I certainly found his soft, where as mine had so much a 'tighter' feel about it. We both commented on this. He also wants now a MRA screen. It seemed to work for him as it works for me :upthumb: I certainly noticed the old buffeting back. For what it's worth. Did they upgrade the suspension on the '06' compared to the '05'.

I've bought an 05 and as far as I know the 06 suspension is the same.I don't find mine soft and that's coming from a Daytona 955.
Having said that I have fitted Hagon suspension front and back to my Tbird and this was a massive improvement.Suggest your friend contacts Hagon.

Don't forget there's Wilbers out there - expensive but superbly good. Tailor-made to suit your weight.
High/low speed adjustable compression, adjustable rebound and hydraulic spring tension.
Had one on my BRG 05, got one on my LT and going to have one on the next bike, whatever and whenever that may be.
I had an 03 and an 05 in quick siccession and the 05 was VERY much firmer front and rear.
I found it slightly too hard for solo use and I'm not a lightweight.
Still. I guess personal preference is the decider?
