Just tax simple as that, bought a bike mag back same as an Bikemart, the secondhand prices are just incredible, the fact the place is so isolated doesn't help, blimey yesterday was out travelling saw a road sign St Petersburg(Russia) 350 clicks!!!.
The plus side was the lack of traffic, and that was in the south god knows what it's like up north!!!!.

tis all in the tax.
Closer to home I can buy the Tiger for a list price of €10 590. I can drive or ride 20mins up the road into Holland and the exact same bike would cost list €12 290!

Us lucky sods in Norway can pick up a brand new Tiger for a mere 22.000 Euros, or £14.700,-
Or , if you prefer, a BMW K1200LT at the rock bottom give-away price of £23.195,-
Now, anyone got a government even greedier??
