Was reading on the Triumph factory site about the 06 .
corrections. They state lowered suspension, backlash fix "what we called clunking" earlier in 05, and slippery gears to quiten them down.
Mine is making a louder clunking between gears it seems.
Also says head changes and better routed hoses and wires.
What brought on the head changes? :???:

Short answer: it's not the same engine. The Tiger now actually sports a 955 version of the new 1050 triple, and shares the new head, cases, gears, and hose routing of the Speed Triple-Sprint engine.

basically the changes happened so they could use bits from an existing parts bin.
