Is this a possible 2007 Tiger?
I´m afraid it is to much sport or supermoto. But if you put on other tyres and keep the strong and sensible engine from the 2006 model it could be popular. Or?

I don't know who cobbled that thing together, but they're on the right track. I'd go for a Tiger "Super-Dooper Moto". How about a Tiger-Moto based on the 675 motor/frame?

A little bit o' this bike, a little bit o' that one... ?
No, thanks. Whatever the Tiger may evolve into, it's going to need to look like all its parts were designed with the same philosophy in mind. This doesn't even come close.
Essentially useless for touring, almost entirely useless for offroad ...it abandons two-thirds of the reasons why people love Tigers.

thats been floating about for over a year now. Would you honestly buy that? I wouldnt!
Its a Tiger with a ***** front fairing a single sided swing arm and a handbag.
Two different wheels (alloy and spoked!!).
As the saying goes - I Dont Think So!

Good call, David. I was wondering why that piece of...er, luggage, reminded me of something disturbing, but I just couldn't think what it was.

At the time this bike was built by numero tre it was a concept and the reason it has different wheels is simply that they used only Standard Triumph parts and at the time couldn't find a 19 inch cast front wheel that would fit the triumph forks. The idea of the luggage balancing up the offside pipe was a styling excercise. The idea was to point out to big T that a supermoto style might well be the way forward. I personally think that its the basis of a good idea, but is no way bad ass enough. BTW it was truly a one off. I tried to buy some of the bits and couldn't. they were destroyed after the panels were made.

The problem with that version (to me at least) is its an ols S3 with a Tiger tank and a pretty poor fairing on the front. Numero tre were well known for this type of thing and most of their stuff looked pretty damned good - I'm sure it was them that did the RS and they were supposedly very much in the frame for the S4 becoming reality.
This though, I think the tea boy thought up.

Somebody is doing great advance work for Triumph! I love the look of the current model and I have money down on an '06 and will stick with it, but this new look could really light it up for Triumph. Obviously, it is weird looking in the picture, with mag and spoked wheels, but the lines of the bike are very interesting. If Triumph goes for the Super Duke crownd, they better come laoded for bear. I hope they really focus on ADVENTURE riding and keep[ the Tiger as is, or I'll be on a BMW in a couple years. Now, if they get 100+ hp out of that Super Moto bike........
