Same routine I do every day after leaving work.
turn a slow circle in the alley and head out.
In the blink of an eye, I realized no speed and I.m leaning..
I held on long enough to realize to let here go.
Surveying the damage, the only thing touching the
pavement was the tourtech bar and the bottom edge of my side case luggage.
2 scratches to mend.
There was leaking of fluid....I thought fork oil then after surveying it was antifreeze .( that cap comes off too easy!)
I just installed the bars 2 weeks ago after reading the possibility of dropping a Tiger.
Best investment you can make on it......
I encourage everyone to add a set.

Easy aint it !!

Did the same this summer in France. luckily I just managed to let it drop a couple of inches. Touroteck Bars and Panniers took the wait and only a small dent in the pannier which now adds a bit of style.

Seems expensive when you first purchase them but well worth every penny the firast time you have to pick it up.

Worth their weight in gold aren't they . Any crash bars are better than no crash bars !

Anybody that has not fitted them yet, really needs to take heed (or have a healthy bank balance  )

Totally agree.
They also prevented anything actually breaking off when I crashed properly last year. If I hadn't broken bones, I could have kicked it straight and riden off. Wel,l worth EVERY penny.
