I am buying a New 2004 Tiger as you know it comes with the panniers, and you have to pay £300+ for the top box, are there any other manufactures out there that make a T-box to fit the tiger, my dealer says not, is he trying it on.

Any suggestions always appreciated.

I've seen a Givi topbox on one. You have to fit the locking plate onto the existing rack though.

I've got the Givi E45 monolock top-box. Like Freddy says you have to fit a plate on the exisiting rack, but it is a pretty neat job. The top box has an optional high-level stop light built in.

Check out the luggage section of the Tiger Trails album

you can fit givi but lets be honest, its gonna look crap. why pay all that money on a great bike then make it look cheap to save $100?

DJR,

David, i beg to differ on your prices. I paid £145 including the monoplate through, Hein Gericke. The Triumph box is a lot more money than the Givi.
£300 for the Triumph ($460 ?)
£158 for the Givi ($220?)
A little more than $100 difference me thinks.....

Looks are a matter of choice surely ?

Cheers,

Jim
