Thumbs up Hi from newbie

Hi all,
Im not yet a Tiger owner(955) but hope to be next month, my first foray into Brit bikes since an altogether unpleasant experience with a BSA C12 a few decades ago.

For the last 2 and a bit years Ive been trying to kill a BMW R1100S, and to the credit of the BM have failed clocking up 55K in the 2 years, its now done 84K and its been one hell of a bike really, but things change, and I fancy something a bit different again and a bit more comfy for the long rides which I quite often do, Wales to Hamburg one day last year, 680 miles damn near killed me, Ok I know some people do more, but that was enough for me.

Anyway thanks to Chris(Winger) for pointing me to here, youve pretty much answered most of my questions already, just got to make the decision now, spend most of the budget on one of the last 06/07's or save a few quid and go for an earlier one then lavish it with a few mods, decisions, decisions.

thanks in advance anyway, looks a great site.

Welcome Tim. There is tons of knowledge and experience to access from the crowd on here. Am new to the Triumph world myself. Love the power and light weight of my Tiger. Can only hope for a little more good weather this year.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, and Chris, yep it is a bit of a shame, but then Ive only ever had one bike at a time, probably best for me, making decisions over 1 bike is hard enough
