Tiger, winter hack?

On my travels in and around the capital over the past week or so I have noticed a rise in the number of Tigers I encounter. Mostly Girlies but one or two steamers.

Is it that the Girlie has had a boom in popularity or is it that the turn in the weather is keeping people off their "posh" bikes?

Hmmmm, ponder.

Wayne

I recently bought a 'Steamer' with the intent of just using it and keeping my TBS as the 'shiny bike'... at first I found it quite liberating not having the urge to wash it after every trip.. touble is I like it too much, so I am starting to have unatural thourghts about stainless bolts and getting the paint tidied-up..

A Tiger's not just for winter. It's for life. You should feed and water it at regular intervals. Pamper to its every need. And shag the hell out of it when ever there's an excuse to ride it.

Hmmm. I bought a 1993 Tiger to use over Winter...

18 months later and another 20,000 miles on the clock I am still using it and spending far too much money on keeping it clean and tidy.

I concur. A Tiger is for life once it gets under your skin.
