Where are my parts?

I recently bought a new 2010 Tiger SE, as part of the deal the dealer honored the Triumph offer on 2009 and earlier bikes and gave me $1000 of accessories- nice. However, 2 weeks later and no parts have arrived at the dealer, nothing, nada, zip, zilch.
I read on this forum someone waiting weeks for their center stand, the question is "Is Triumph always this bad on their parts supply, is this a wee taste of things to come?"
I've always ridden BMW's and whilst there were always parts in stock, they cost a small fortune (same as servicing).

Can't speak for the other side of the Pond!
I've now owned eight Triumph Models, and never found parts a problem usually under a week or from stock.
I to took advantage of the deal for £800 Accessories, with my new tiger. OEM 3 box Luggage with back pad, rack and Alarm. Ordered the bike on monday delivered saturday. The Top box was later and came in the following tuesday when I visited the dealer and they fitted it together with the keyed alike lock.
I've since ordered GPS lead and that was also in within two days. So from my point of view here in the uk it's pretty good.
Have you tried other dealers in your area for a comparison delivery date?
It might just be your dealer!
Still the bikes worth it!

Spoke with my local dealer, and it appears Triumph out sold Honda last month!
so maybe there is a delay getting the parts out, too busy shipping bikes.

Thumbs up Talked to Triumph - damn dealer.

Ok, I called Triumph and they said all the parts were in stock no issue, they then checked the dealers orders and nothing had been ordered. Then my dealer said they ordered through their sister company - aha, so I called Triumph again and asked and they said, nope no orders from them either.

Dealer has until the end of today to get me a straight answer before I open a can of whupass.

On the upside, the Triumph customer service says they will call the dealers directly and get it sorted - bloody hell, brilliant.

Good News!

Customer Services win the day, Dealer might get a wake up as well.
Glad it's sorted!

dealer humped the pooch

Turns out the dealer humped the pooch on this one, between the 2 locations they actually never ordered the parts.
They finally ordered them today, thanks to me expediting their sorry butts, but it will be 4-5 days delivery plus fitting time, hmm let me think, er - no, how about you pay to get them overnight and get them fitted for the weekend, otherwise it will be a 4 week delay? Ok they say and away we go. They even ok'd to have their suspension guy work saturday to set the bike up for me.
They did mention Triumph had been on the phone to them to get it sorted also - brilliant.
Thank god I had a relationship with the dealer through their BMW side which helped grease the wheels.
