Hello from newbie

Hi everyone! Well, I've just bought a 1050 Tiger today ( 15th ). The bike is 1 year old and has done 2500 miles only, so it's like new. It is a black one with matching panniers and topbox. It also has a scottoiler and hand guards fitted. I had one of the first 885 FI tigers back in 1999 and covered over 20000 trouble free miles, so I can't wait until Friday to pick the new one up and to start piling on the miles. I'll be heading straight to a rally in Scotland, so that should be a good start! I'll keep you posted.

Welcome Mickyvee,
Good choice of bike and colour!
Nice roads North of the border also. But don't forget the polybag for the panniers weather seals not too sharp! just like the Scottish weather.
Remember no such thing as bad weather just the wrong clothes, and tyres.
Enjoy your trip

Congratulations mickyvee. I'm willing to bet you're going to love this bike. I jumped in about 3 weeks ahead of you and have never been happier with a new bike. Seems to do everything well!

Cool a new 1050 in the stable - well done.

And off on a long ride even better.

If you liked the 885 motor, you'll love the 1050. Enjoy!
