Anyone has a dyno chart from Tiger 2004 or 2005?

I would like to see the power and torque curves.

Thanks,
Michael.

Its difficult to find a previous copy of Bike in Greece, but I finally found this instead:

Source is Bike magazine, issue November 2002.

ADVrider Forum

I think that Tigers after 2002 are far more powerfull than the charts show.

Mike.

P.S. Thanks for the blessing :-D

if it's easy to attach pics here I dont mind scanning it and posting it... by the way, the Tiger's power is shown as WELL down on the KTM, 1200GS and Varadero, but they explain the Tiger's excellent performance figures as "clever gearing"..... tut!

The Tiger has a torque curve? I thought it was a straight line.

I seriously doubt the genuine accuracey of the dyno graphs shown. Specifically, the Tiger.

I am going to tell you my '98 Steamer outperforms what that graph is showing us.

1. Suffice it to say ... those bikes illustrated were running pretty crappy. If we want to judge a bike's performance, let's set it up for BEST performance and then run the dyno charts. Any bike can run crappey ... and it's meaningless!

2. The TORQUE curve for a TIGER should be almost
perfectly flat. The graph shown, illustrates the Tiger as
building torque with RPM and peaking at about 60 ft/lbs.
My Steamer climbs straight up and maintains that torque
at all RPMS over 1500-2000. And my torque is just under 60 ft lbs ... but maintains it over the full spectrum of ROM's, whereas the graph shows the Tiger ( as well as the other bikes ) drops off considerably.

According to that graph ... my Steamer would give it a run for it's money and perhaps even win on the strip.
A well tuned FI Tiger should pump 84+ hp at the rear and 66+ ft/lbs of torque ( across the RPM range ).

Anyone who has not put their Tiger on a dyno ... spend the $50 and do so. If the right people are running the dyno ... they can explain everything you want to know about how/why your engine performs the way it does and what you can do to improve it. It's well worth it.
