Dirt worthy XRx?

I know the XC models are specific for off road but has anyone made any changes to their XR or XRX to be a bit more off road ready? I like the height of my XRx but the suspension isn't adjustable and the tires are really 90/10. The fender is very close to the tires so an extension would be necessary for a 50/50 tire. Just wondering if other changes were made?

I would like to know I've got it set up that if I end up on Jeep trails I'm good to go. Nothing too crazy. I found the stock Scorpian trails to be a bit less traction in deeper dirt or gravel than I'm used to. Nothing too nuts. Just putting it out there. The XCx has a higher fender than the XRx I believe.

Better tires and some type of protection for the sump and oil filter, and maybe crash bars if you hit the ground, bark busters to help save the controls and levers in the event of a tip over also, all the things you might do to any other adventure bike, just remember cast wheels won't take the punishment that spokes will. You're riding a 500 lb bike and it will have limits going off road, the road model will handle most groomed gravel roads just fine, I have taken mine across a few easy roads even with sport touring tires and haven't had any problems, but I wasn't trying to push the limit either.

I bought the XrX because I'm just too short to ride the XC (even the low version), I did wanted to take my tiger off the beaten track a bit so I outfitted it with 50/50 tires (Hideneau Scout), crash bars (both engine & tank), and a sump guard.
So far it has handled stuff slight more than just a fire road just fine, I have bottomed out the fork a few times though. I spoke to my dealership about this and they suggested adding more oil in the fork, and they think the XRX can do ok off road especially with a lighter rider (>150 lbs)
If I was taller, I would have bought the XC version...
