I took my 2016 tiger in today to get new tires and check out an immobilizer issue. The tech noticed I had out of date software. He downloaded the the stuff and boy what a difference. I had a flat spot around 3500 rpm's that is 100% gone now. The bike runs better across the range now (not that I noticed anything before except the flat spot). Just a fyi for those of you that do your own maintenance. It's a good idea to bring it in every once in a while to check for new software updates.
My dealer updated the map on my Tiger and created a massive flat spot.
The bike was not rideable.
He had loaded the arrow map and it is terrible.
Back to the standard map and everything is normal
I've heard slip on tunes are terrible. After all the bikes I've owned, I can't imagine needing a tune for a slip on exhaust.
