Re: Stateside availability. I know the person who was importing them previously. I don't want to misquote him, but I think it was a case of orders not being filled consistantly. He was getting blamed for the back orders knew his reputation would suffer, so he quit importing them.
Hopefully they will get it together at some point and become available again.
Try again on the photos. Even upside-down I don't see any crash bars on there.

Just as a sidenote: Touratech USA is generally 50 to 80% more expensive than the same stuff in Germany. If you compare with the German store, there's 19% sales tax included in all prices ...

The issue is not Touratach itself, it's the local retailers.
