Today I got my bike back from it's initial service from the dealership. They installed heated grips and my cntr stand. Tonight I installed the engine guard plumbing and topbox cassette and topbox. Sure is nice to have that finally on.

I gotta ask, is the topbox really hard to lock on as the pull handle refuses to lock in the downward position. Am I doing something wrong? I don't wanna force it and break/bend some internal linkage...

Installed a 24 amp Shorai Battery from the K1600. The 1600 got a 36amp Shorai.
I have Pivot Pegs on order and a side stand foot as well as a set of upper engine and radiator guards.

I got these lights too and Pilot3 did a very nice build on the kit. Highly recommended.

Just got a Tiger 800 a week ago. I spent today installing a Hepco and Becker center stand, Admore Light Bar, power cords and handlebar mounts for a Valentine One and Zumo 550, and a J&M CB.

Still need a Russell Day Long saddle, XC handlebar risers and either a Palmer or Madstad windshield and some sort of hard luggage.

Got my Adventure light kit installed, that miraculously showed up in 4 days despite the fact that my dealer has been telling me they have been backordered for the last two months. Oh well, you snooze, you lose. Couldn't handle the brushed aluminum guards that matched NOTHING on the bike, so painted them satin black. Yum.

Also installed SW Motech headlight protectors from Twisted Throttle.

I guess I could say Ginger got glasses and reading lights?



Yeah, I know, none of you have ever seen an orange Tiger with OEM lights.
