Panel Removal

Has anyone removed the plastic panels along the gas tank? I have some wiring to do and am wondering how to remove them without breaking anything!

Thanks!

I did just out of curiosity one night. The come right off, just start removing bolts and covers, nothing tricky.

The black piece (not painted) slides back and doesn't just pop off. after you get the bolts off.

The ones at the back of the tank have one bolt on each side under the seat, the front of the panel has a plasic peg which pushes into a rubber grommet. Pull the front outward about 5mm & slide the panel rearward
All the others are simply on bolts ....dont forget there is one under the "Triumph" badge

If your looking to remove the tank, the biggest problem is the front cross over fuel pipe..
