Swing arm paint work
I wonder if a rear hugger for the T`bird will be avaliable sometime ? cos I am finding that the part of the arm in line with the tire is now starting to get "pebbledashed" with road crap and its removing the paint down to the metal in some places, either that or a thick coat of some kinda sealer ..anyone else noticed at all ??..

I haven't noticed that on mine yet, but I must get that gray pulley powdercoated soon!

Gets dirty but no chipping. Must be the roads you ride regularly. My last bike never did that either. But i don't ride any places where the roads are full of pebbles or anything like that.

No the roads are smooth, not pebbled, I keep off of those, its just general grit and ***t that gets kicked up by the tire,, thus a hugger on the Tiger , I noticed that there are 2 holes and a couple of threaded inserts around that area, possible fixings for something ?????

You can always just clean it real good and put some sort of tape there. Black duct tape should work well.

Use "100mph tape", sometimes called hurricane tape or helicopter rotor tape. www.findtape.com, I think. MUCH better than duct tape.

Hi King
Thanks for the heads up there, appreciated, took another look this AM, its the odd stone chip thats appearing, probably thats why rear huggers were invented, same occured on my 955i Tiger but a hugger soon stopped it, I think a hugger is required for the T`bird..
Ok ordered said tape off of E-Pay, thanks again for the info Kingoffleece

Done and dusted, Heli tape in place, ;-) , apparently its used by mountain bikers to protect their bikes....now to get and fit the heated grips, that should hopefully be straight forward, still no luck with fitting the aux power socket, the extension cable has not turned up as yet )-:
