He runs a web store called xchoppers and sell them. Those lower it 2", but i'm sure progressive has a model that will lower it 1". They aren't special for this bike ot anything, they're just progressives that fit it. So get the same model an inch longer. He probably sells any of them on his site, but you can get them at any progressive dealer. His prices seem good tho from what i remember when i bough mine for my speedy.

talked to him yesterday and he is a very informative individual. Prices are very good compared to what I've seen so far. The progressives he is using right now are the same part numbers for the Honda VTX series bikes. There is a little bit of grinding to do, but nothing that takes more then 5 min. time. I think the progressive 12" ones will get you about 1" lower then stock, he has on the 11.5 progressive 440's on the bike in the photo. Give him a call his name is Grant and seems to be an honest guy.

Personally i prefer the look stock more. Lowered it looks too much like one of those harley sleds. Stock it looks perfect in that it still looks like ma triumph hot rod instead of some kind of low rider chopper or whatever. I wouldn't mind having the seat 1" lower, but i don't like the bike being lowered.

You raise a good point - is there a lower seat for the T-Bird, or would it have to be custom?

there is a seat called the "long haul" but i'm quite sure it's no lower. Obviously made to be more comfortable for long rides.
