Center lift paddock stand

Hi Folks

Does anyone know if such a stand exists yet for the T`bird ? it would be handy to be able to lift the bike to clean the wheels and to remove wheels in the event of a puncture, something that has happened twice to me on the Tiger, but of course the Tigger has a center stand, and thankfully the nails in the rear tire were noticed when at home ..

12 days and counting ;-)

Talking Bike Lift

I posted this several weeks ago after i ran into the same problem.
THis works very well. I modified my bike/atv lift for my Bird.THis add on to my lift slides under the engine and lifts the bike without putting on any weight to the exhaust or cat.THis is made out of 3/4" material. My lift is too tall to slide under with standing the bike straight up, so when it bumps the bottom stand the bike up staight and slide it the rest of the way under.

Thanks for that mod - you have done the research for me (cause I have a very similar bike lift.)

Have a beer on me.

Hi mustang66man

Thanks for the heads up, appreciated.

Excuse the ignorance but I assume as there is no frame under the motor you jack up the T`bird via the engine ? , I dont have my T`bird yet, ..7 days to wait ;-)

Alan

Leave the pork pies for now - get the sausage rolls while they're hot!

hi, guys
ok...crazy offer here. I just finished building a house and have a table saw and piles of 3/4 in ply lying around in small pieces. If it would be hard for any of you to get a 6 1/2 x 14 x 3/4 piece cut to size, send me the $5 shipping and I'll shoot one off to you. I am assuming there are only a few of us...cause this could easily get out of control LOL Just a thought...probably a silly thought...but there you go. Let me know if you need one...
John

PS thanks, mustangman...I got the same floorjack and was just scratching my head over how to lift this puppy safely.

I would think that a good floor jack would handle this bike. For storage, something else would be better. Considering the amount of turning clearance, a center stand is out of the question? Never seen a potential "touring" bike without a center stand.
