Stainless Steel Control Cables

SITUATION
I have ordered the:
- Chrome Switch Housing units
- Chrome Levers
- Chrome Oil Reservoir Cover
but the stock control cables are black!

THINKING-OUT-LOUD
- Will NewBonneville be brining out a 'Braided Stainless Steel Control Cable Pack' for the T-Bird?
- Does anyone have experience with this product? (durable, functional, etc.)

Here is a short of the Bonneville Cable Pack:

I'm interested in your feedbacks, ideas, opinions, options....

Leave the pork pies for now - get the sausage rolls while they're hot!

You will also need to order the "switchcube clamp", part# A9738157. The kit doesn't come with that even when you get the brake res cover too as i did also. The kit only comes with one for the clutch side. These are the half circle clamp that clamps the brake res and the clutch lever housing to the bars. So with the parts you ordered you will get everything but one of those clamps. They don't tell you this but someone else here got all his parts and told me that. then i got mine and can now confirm it's true. i had to order the clamp for the right hand side and in fact just got it in the mail yesterday along with the Tbird clutch cover and rear fender medallion i posted about last nite. heres a pic to show the chrome one on the left that comes with the kit and the stock black one on the right i just replaced last nite with the clamp i ordered...

Also, the kit does NOT come with chrome bolts for those clamps. They expect you to use the existing black ones. But i found stainless steel ones that are an exact match at a hardware store and polished them. You literally cannot tell they are not chrome. Most hardware stores should have them, they are very common. And where you are it should be easier to find since your country uses the metric system. We don't, so metric bolts can be hard to find in the same sizes and styles you need. But these are so common i see them everywhere.

Thanks for the heads-up on this one Dazco.
I did order that clamp after reading one of your earlier post - so hopefully all will be nice and shiny for when I come to collect the bike (still no word of it yet!)

Regarding those stainless steel bolts: BRILLIANT idea!
Local hardware store will be the first stop on my way home

So you saying that we simply email them and say it's for the T-Bird and they will send you a set?

Or will they be putting it up on the tinterweb when they are ready?

i have the following reply

Ian - Sorry, we do not. They may be available in the near future. These bikes are so new that not a lot of parts are available yet.

Thanks for the interest!
