I must find dual headlights.

I really like the look of the Rocket dual headlights, but apparently they won't bolt up to the T-bird. I understand that the mount is the same as the Speedy and the America. Does anyone have a source for the dual headlights other than HD?

Ummm.... Unfortunately I don't yet have my T-Bird to 'play-around' with!

I was thinking that I would need to make an adapter - but I feel sure it wouldn't be too hard to knock-together?!?

Go for it Rob - and keep me informed - Twin headlamps is what I'll be doing with mine once it's here!

<edit>

Here is a photo I took when orientating myself for this project!
The stock T-Bird lamp is fitted in the center of the lower yoke.

I don't have a picture of the Rocket II fittings - but I'll get onto it!

Leave the pork pies for now - get the sausage rolls while they're hot!

Twin headlights on the HD Fat Bob look amazing - I can only think they would look even better on the T-bird. Any chance the factory will offer a conversion?

I checked the Fat Bobs lamps...
They WILL fit!
They cost me 780.00 Swiss Francs - that's approximately TOO much!

They will fit within the 10" fork distance and DO NOT go too far back!
The situation with the TBird is that the center down tube is rather forward! But the Fat Bob would fit.
See attached pictures I took for reference.

My dealer will look into a fitting that will allow the Rocket III lamps to fit the TBird!

If you look at the TBird standard lamp you will see that an ABS cable runs up to the lamp! Power supply?
So it wont be a simple plug and play operation!

Nice link Binnsy...

I'm going to try with my dealer to fit the standard Rocket III twin lamps first - if that fails, then I think the Thunderbike option looks good.

Though I'm still not sure why in the hell anyone would want to get rid of the sexy headlight on the tbird, I did stumble upon this link the other day and thought you all might be interested.

Not to be an enabler or anything, what you do with that link is your business, but I think you all need help.

I have been anxiously awaiting updates to this thread. I'm thinking the HD Fat Bob is going to be the way to go.
