You might want to read my last post in the thread titled "Triumph Tbird cat bypass !". I started it a wekk or so ago when i was excited about cat removal, but after talking to Mickey Cohen i changed my mind. he said it's a waste because this particular design has little or nothing to gain by bypassing the cat. I don't know how true that is because i'm just taking his word on it. But he IS Triumph's fleet manager and he seems to know a lot more than anyone else i've talked to about this bike. Just saying...

BC would be a great resource in being able to confirm or deny those claims. Do you plan on Dynoing the bike with your new pipes BC? Would you also be performing the same after your bypass and complete the race exhaust?

Can't wait to see the updates on this.

Firstly - Fantastic! Good work! Keep it up. Thanks that your moving on this as fast as you can!

Inputs:
1) Make them sound meatier (deeper and 5% louder than the official TORs)
2) Get the best map done to get the best performance out of the bird
3) Keep the price low on the ground
__(lower = more sales = more profit in long run - and there will be a lot of Tbirds sold in the long run)
4) Laser cut a Triumph 'T' at the end of the pipes.
5) Send me a test set to ride around Switzerland with as a marketing strategy

Thanks once again!

What are they getting for them? Also, what about the tune? Do you have to get a PC or tuneboy to load the tune they have for it? Or will they have a tune for it?

They are thinking $595 for the polished version, I did not get the price for the powdercoated ones. Sound clip should be up in about 10 days and the pipes should ship in about two weeks. They are thinking the map for the TOR's will work fine, but final testing should get that figured once they have an actual set to work with.

P.S. A license plate re-locate bracket is next on their list, hopefully followed by something to help the looks of the headlight (ie...up and out)

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to just hold on till they get that sound file out.

There is a good chance I'll go for that as well.

On this one I think they are smoking crack. The headlight is one of my favorite bits. It give it the forward almost chopper feel while the geometry of the bike is rather conservative. Ah well, to each his own I suppose.
