Ok here is the Mod for adding Garmin Zumo 595 GPS i was asked allot of questions about.
1. Zumo 595
2. RAM base mount and 1" clamp extension
3. SS #10 stove bolts
4. Patience
I removed handle bar clamp and drilled through holes in lower section where there is not interference with clamping and bolted Ram base mount on. I unbolted fuel tank after removing fuel and suspended above bike to keep from removing wiring and fuel, and vacuum lines. I ran wiring through front forks alone with other wiring DYNO Jet Pod ( dyno Jet Pod 200 is for another post ),iphone cable, speaker wiring, gear indicator and batter charging meter. I bundled wiring together with tywraps and looped small nylon rope alone entire length of cables to have even pull through front forks. Had some large pieces like the usb plug on Garmin cable so i used a little dielectric grease to ease the pull worked great. I have seen many pictures of GPS on a bar clamp but to me it looks unbalanced. I wanted the information center in the middle and hard mounted to look like OEM just looks better to me. Pics show most of what i described. I wanted to help all my fellow Commander group since there does not seem to be much on this specific bike.

Yeah my racks wish they were that clean.

:)

Also, I have a couple kinds of RAM mounts, one of which is a hollow ball with bolt through the ball, replacing one of the bar clamp bolts vs drilling through. Would not be centered though that way.
