Hey guys, I subscribe to the Triumph page on FB and the attached custom bike was featured on there page. I don't much about this owner/builder as it was in another language, so I apologise for them not getting credit on this build.
I think she looks pretty good. I really like the rear end on this... But also think it would be pretty rigid. And the color scheme fits well.
Now I only posted this image to share a Thunderbird Custom with you all... I own the Storm and love it the way it is now, however this may give some a little inspiration to do something different with there Thunderbird. It certainly gives me some ideas for in the future.
Let me know your thoughts on this bike... Regardless of all our opinions, I think we may all agree that it's pretty creative of the owner.

That look's been around for a while. The image below is the first time I remember seeing it a couple years ago...and I think the work on it is a bit nicer than the above:



EDIT: Just noticed on yours that the rear shocks have been done away with, presumably for some sort of hidden center monoshock. Not a bad look.

I love both of these and would love to see more pics of custom work on thunderbirds. I'm a tinkerer...and as much as I value the stock storm, I'm always looking for ways to improve and I think the available mods and accessories only take it so far.....

I totally agree with you mate. I really love the look of the Storm (I have the matte black) and have done a little bit to her to 'make it my own', but maybe a further down the line, I'll do something different with her... But then again, maybe not, who knows?! But I think the two bikes shown look fantastic.
