I had one that I used to perform my many cycle related tasks. It will serve the purpose as long as you intend to only work occasionally as I did. I don't believe that it would do for extended heavy work which would require a more stable lift and a handy place to keep your many tools.
I used mine for mainly routine maintenance and cleaning. It served that purpose very well and was quite handy to store standing up in the corner of my garage. They are easily moved and operated by one person. I never had any complaints with mine although its use was limited to light duty mechanics.
I say used to have one because my son acquired it when I determined that I was too old to be doing anything but maybe oil changes ! ------BTW , it will handle heavy bikes as I used it for an H.D. bagger !

Actually I was inebriated when I wrote that last post , I've been on a bender for the last 5 days---- I had a lift but it dropped my bike and spilled an entire six pack of beer that was sitting under the bike !
Forgive me but sometimes I get mixed up when I encounter such a tragic distressing loss( the beer). Old people are not reliable when partaking of a pub crawl in their garage !
