I'm a bit surprised they didn't incorporate these changes into the Thunderbird, and instead keep the Storm the very sporty, less traditional-cruiser bike I always thought it was meant to be.

I don't get MCN, but I understand one of the bikes they report on is a revised Thunderbird Storm that's meant to compete with the Harley Fatboy. Anyone have any technical details?

Ho hum ... who cares. Compete with the Fatboy? Any flavor of the T'Bird is already superior to the Fatboy. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Can't you do a screen capture? If you have photoshop or any paint type app, press the "print screen" button on your keyboard, then open photoshop and open a new canvas then go to the context menu and click paste, then save the file. Other paint/photo apps should do the same if not in a slightly different way.

Well that puts my mind at ease. I was afraid they might have made one i wanted more and would have to take a huge loss and sell mine. Looking at that I wouldn't trade mine with 26000 on it straight across for that breand new one.

Thanks for the image... I'm with you on this, not crazy about the front wheel. The extended rear will be interesting to see... I'll guess it'll only be extended by an inch or two (great for the bedroom, but not nessasary for the storm!)
Well after seeing the image, at least I'll have a few more years of riding this 2012 model Storm before I consider an updating.

Vespa to the Storm!

I get Triumph wanting some of harleys market share, but,i don't get how they compete for the same market, as the bikes have such different characteristics...the tbird is the best cruiser on the market but, harley has hells angels & easyrider. how do you compete with easy rider?

I understand those who don't like the current stock/long TOR pipe look. For me, that's another feature that makes our bikes unique.
