I comfortably get to 85, push it to 95, but do not go further. So does that make me a wuss. How do some of you get to 110,120 etc? Do you have a windshield?

I get up to 100 no problem! On-ramps, passing lanes, etc. When I'm riding 2up, it takes a tiny bit longer, but still get up there! No windscreen here!

I've hit 80 maybe twice so put me in the wuss category. In my younger days 105 - 110 were common place. (No helmet either in those days, not that it would have mattered. Then again why save a dumb brain.) I bought the Tbird because I didn't want to get an America or Bonneville and be disappointed. The extra power is sure nice to have though. The bird barely works pulling my fat ass around.

115 has been my max to date, no windshield, just a headlight nacelle.

Age/experience has taught me that sustained speeds over 75 mph just isn't all that smart. 120 without a windshield probably isn't all that fun either, but I wouldn't know. I don't think I've ever been past 110, and I haven't been over 90 in 15 years. I like breathing too much.

I promised my self that I would not speed when I got the t-bird and since 75 is the max speed limit in texas that is as fast as I've gone. However I can not imagine doing over 85 or so it just doesn't seem like it would be that much fun

I have a mid size R3 screen on my storm & if i'm not payin attention I'll hit an indicated 115 pretty quick in 5th gear.

I hit 120 a few times, and no screen. In fact, 1/2 helmet and sunglasses ! I usually back off about then because at that point my glasses are bouncing around so violently i can't see.

Mind you, i wouldn't ride at that speed for any time, and i don't do this regularly . But it's a hoot now and then. I plan on testing it's top end one of these days after i get around to reloading my tune after changing the speed limiter so theres no barrier up to any speed i'd ever consider going. I'd like to experience 140 at least once and see if she'll do that. But i'd definitely be wearing my 3/4 helmet with shield. Oh, and a crucifix.
