Oh, I know that. I knew that going in for the bigger radius tire. Actually, the larger tire does great strides towards correcting the speedometer indication to showing your true speed in the first place, and all in all I have been very happy with the Avon so far... it seems to be lasting a lot longer than the Metzeler's ever did.
I currently have about 5500 miles on the rear, and it barely looks broken in! There is word that at a certain point the Avon will suddenly take a nose-dive and wear out very quickly once about 50% of the tread is gone, but I have yet to see that situation occur.
