Stock Horn

I found the best solution was to use the bracket that came with the dresser bars and the original horn. You need to remove the rubber gromet and fit a washer in the larger hole of the bracket. The stud on the original horn isn't long enough to fit through the gromet but with a washer to reduce the hole size it fit nicely. After you tighten it down, you will need to bend the bracket toward you a little to get sufficient clearence but the horn will be tucked nicely underneth and won't stand out or look like you bent the bracket.

Accessories seem to be easier to come by now, at least compared to March of 2011 when I bought my bike. Back then, the accessories I got as part of the promotion took some time to come it. Last last week I walked in figuring I was going to order the engine bars and adjustable pegs, and my dealer had them in stock! And yes, the replacement horn is kind of funny. If our bike was named the "road runner" the horn would be quite fitting....

Keep the dresser bars and listen to the previous posters regarding the horn. The mirrors - eh .... they don't do much for me. Don't know about the backrest.

Ahh the joy of living in God's country. we don't get these wonderful deals here. In fact we get the privelidge of paying $20k plus for the same stock bike even though the Au dollar to US is stronger. Enjoy your special deals, I do envy you and work as hard per hour to get them as you do. Signed Jealous!

He'd have to buy the waterski accessory kit which would cost him another $3K...I got mine as a part of the Summer Splashing Promotional deal, which apparently you can't get in AU...haven't installed mine yet, i'll post pictures once I install them for my across the pond trip :-)

Do you have to disconnect the battery (as you do with every Triumph accessory) to install that kit?
