I am with you on this possibly being BS!

So far everything I wanted for my bike was there in stock at my local dealer ready for me within 3 min of me mentioning it!

Either way I'm not losing any sleep over it. I come to this forum because I love my bike, and want to talk with other like minded individuals. Anyone who "should have bought a Harley" can go cry over on the Harley forums as far as I'm concerned.

Pretty darn funny how you guys resurrect a nearly 8 month old thread to continue beating your chests Guess theres not enough new action in this forum to keep you busy.

Wow I didn't realize it was that old, and you are right. There aren't enough new posts here.

Well, actually, you resurrected this on 11/10 (otherwise known as yesterday).

I tagged on because it wound up at the top of the latest posts since you commented on it and after reading the thread yet again, I decided that it was perfectly appropriate for me to make a comment on the fact that since it keeps getting dredged up, it would be fair to point out that it appears to be a heaping pile of dung. The original post does not pass the smell test.

I was originally sucked into thinking it was genuine but on further reflection, I came to the above conclusion. You get potential purchasers on this forum and before they decide to walk away from a T'Bird because someone publishes stuff like this, I like to hop in and set the record straight.

By the way all, is there a time limit on threads that I'm not aware of ?

no, no time limit. You can ask for it to be closed if you think it needs to be.

Personally I don't think it matters staying around, I think anyone reading this thread would be able to work out what the story is and also the occasional zombie alert emergency can liven peoples lives up with a bit of drama now and again

And yet another reason not to get a Harley. Went for a ride yesterday with a friend that has a 2012 Electra Glide Classic with the 103c.i. Engine. As we pulled onto the highway heading home he tromps the throttle so I return the gesture. I look over as I shift to third and have him by a good three bike lengths and the TBird just keeps walking away. As he pulls up beside me at the next light he says "you got a hemi in that bike or what?" Being that he was riding single and I was two up, I'm feeling pretty good about the Big Bore kit my dealer installed about now...

I'm sure there is no time limit on bringing threads back. Its just pretty humorous is all. From what I can tell, defending your Thunderbirds from the dreaded Harley seems to be the major concern of people on this board.
Its sort of like me owning my 1050 Tiger and someone coming along and saying they hate their Tiger and are going to buy a BMW GS. Ooookay by me. I can see reasons you might do that, even reasons I might do that under the right circumstances. Guess I'm just not invested enough in my choice of bikes to let it get me all tuned up as people seem to do here. But I do enjoy the entertainment.
