We do not normally comment about actions we have taken about an individual member but we believe this certain member is publicizing and distorting facts of an issue.

The signature of this particular member was reported to the Moderator Forum, the profile signature which is published with each post was this:

'Jesus - the other white meat'

We considered this signature to be unacceptable and inflammatory which is against our Acceptable User's Policy. We have had other issues with this member and this time he was given a warning infraction.

This member then posted a misleading thread on this forum, leaving out the issue of the inflammatory signature line claiming we had 'censored' his name, we at that time were unaware of this particular name. He then sent a threatening message to us. He has since posted the same misleading information on another site still claiming he was given an infraction for his name instead of the truth which was for the signature line above.

We have since banned this member.

Actually, thanks for posting the reason you gave someone the boot. It's refreshing to see a forum be so open and up front with this situation. (It's also a great way to let us know how much wiggle room we have.)

We try to be pretty open about most things but we have to consider others on this international site that may have been offended. This could all have been cleared up low key in a level headed way but unfortunately someone threw his toys out of the cot.

I'll close this thread now, it's been given enough airtime.
