You want to go your own way, but you just don't know which direction to go!

So now it's between the Bonnie, the Tiger and the Thunderbird!

All great bikes.

Which one stirs your soul?

Which one feels best when you sit on it?

Which one is the most appropriate "tool" for the job? Which means you need to be pretty clear what you want out of your next bike.

Do you want a Sprint without the pain? (Tiger!)

or something different?

Funny.

Tiger is out of the running. When i was in the dealership yesterday, i walked up to the Tiger, and just looked at it, and looked...and looked...and...

I tried to see all of the good points of the Tiger, but no matter how pratical it is, and no matter how much I am sure I would love riding it, I just cant get past the looks of it, or the feel of sitting on it. Just doesnt do anything for me. (NO offense Tiger fans!)

So, its now between the T-Bird, the Bonnie, and two other brands which shall remain unnamed.

Need to decide because I want/will have one of the above mentioned ( or unmentioned) bikes in my garage the day after my Sprint sells.

Well both of these bikes are WAAAAY different from BMW, US or Jap offerings.

If the T'Bird had standard footpegs for me it would be a no brainer!

I just can't get my head around forward controls! Or I don't want to....

You need to look at the ROcket III roadster too, just for fun!!!!

well, I agree, somewhat. I test rode the new dyna wideglide....I made it out of the parking lot, about 40 feet up the road and turned around..seriously, no joke. That seating position just seemed odd to me. Imagine sitting in your chair, stick your legs straight out, all the way out, lift them just a touch off of the floor, and put your arms straight out. Thats the seating position. However, I also test rode a Deuce since they had a nice 2007 with low miles (Ive always loved them). The Deuce has forward controls, but not too forward, just like the T-Bird (they share a similar rear fender as well).

I think the T-Bird's foot controls are placed just right, for me anway.

Haggis,

Raask has mid and rear sets for the bird available.

Should I be expecting you to put your order in next week then?

Thanks Thatch: While Raask sure do make some nice parts, that looong rod to the front pedal assembly looks a bit naff. The T'bird is on my radar, and I'm sure it will come out as a standard, so I'll save my pennies for it.

It ticks a lot of boxes for me.

I assume that question is for me....?

Build? Im 6ft..200lbs. In decent shape.

Riding style? Depends..I have owned cruiser and sport bikes..I suppose it depends on my mood. Thats the problem..when I have a sportbike, I was a cruiser, and when i have a cruiser, i want a sportbike. Not in the budget for two bikes..

Im selling my Sprint because I have some upper neck isues (disks; just had MRI on Monday). I honestly feel that the Sprints riding position had something to do with that.
